Abstract: Actor-network theory 主要是觀察人類、(機構)組織、軟體、電腦與通訊硬體、以及作為基礎架構的標準等元素混雜時所產生的各種情況，研究者嘗試透過ANT瞭解資訊系統的社會科技本質。Walsham一文目的在於檢視資訊學研究中的ANT現狀，並批判性地思考此理論的優缺點，藉此提供資訊學在未來一些相當重要的研究觀點。
